Sea Ice + Climate from the Floe Scale Up
We are a diverse group of researchers focused on understanding changes ongoing in polar regions, and located across the world, in both hemispheres, primarily affiliated at Brown University and the University of Auckland, with a shared commitment to ethical conduct.
We host a weekly seminar series on polar science that is in-person in both Auckland and Providence, focusing on early-career and historically under-represented scientists.
We do research on sea ice physics, climate predictability, oceanography, remote sensing, and ecology - and participate in a series of co-production studies, primarily in the Arctic.
