The 2025 SASIP-neXTSIM Tutorial and Workshop

As a part of the Scale Aware Sea Ice Project (SASIP), we will be hosting a workshop on the development and use of the new coupled sea ice model neXtSIM-DG in Providence, Rhode Island.

The workshop will include hands-on tutorials on building and running neXtSIM and hosted in Browns Department of Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences.

Support exists for up to 20 researchers to attend along with the cohort of scientists in SASIP to learn about applying this new sea ice model to their polar research.
