We have two openings in the APOG: a postdoctoral (or similarly qualified) researcher and a Ph.D. student.
The researcher will join and contribute to the EMPIRIC project, building bespoke, island-resolving downscaling methods using machine learning to support Small Island Developing States. Prospective graduate students will cut across any of the research themes in the APOG.
Qualifications desired (PhD. student/researcher)
Some/extensive experience analyzing/interpreting/manipulating geophysical model data
Some/extensive experience writing scientific code in python, julia, matlab, e.g..
