The APOG Seminar Series

We host a weekly/bi-weekly speaker series, where we invite talks in a hybird 30-minute format aimed at a broad audience. We have a particular focus on inviting and promoting:

  • Early career researchers

  • Researchers from historically underrepresented groups in polar science

  • Researchers involved in engagement and co-production of knowledge with indigenous groups.

The aim of the APOG meetings is to facilitate a polar-focused broadening of the science curriculum at Brown and in Auckland, and expose the APOG and guests to new and varied ideas being taken up by researchers around the world.

Any external party interested in learning more is welcome to attend. Please reach out to Chris Horvat for a link.
